Abstract:
This CFD Guide provides reliable benchmark data for the validation of CFD predictions in circular pipes with sudden contractions in incompressible flow. Input geometrical and flow parameters for sharp-, round-, and chamfer-edged contractions are provided for defining four CFD Benchmarks. Comparisons with ESDU CFD predictions performed using ESDU methodology are presented.Indexed under:
