Abstract:
ESDU 81008 forms part six of an integrated group that deal with the design of linear systems. It considers the factors that, in particular, affect the selection of a specific method of system assessment. An explanation is given of how an initial method of system assessment can be chosen, and subsequently how this choice may change as the system is designed. The advantages and disadvantages of the root and logarithmic/polar frequency response methods are detailed.Indexed under:
