ESDU 66030
Pressure losses in flowmetering devices.
Abstract:
ESDU 66030 gives approximate pressure loss information for a wide range of flowmeters operating under turbulent flow conditions. The data are based on information supplied by manufacturers of flowmeters and on the British Standard, B.S.1042, Part 1, 1964 on flow measurement. The information is presented in non-dimensional terms. Flowmeters are grouped into types according to operating principles and illustrated schematically in a table which acts as an index to the pressure loss data. Also indicated are typical applications of each type but flow metering performance is not considered.Indexed under:
