Abstract:
ESDU Aero F.02.01.06 has been superseded by ESDU 08013 but is retained because it is used in the worked examples of ESDU 81013, ESDU 82011 and ESDU 84002. ESDU 08013 includes more recent test information and should always be used to find the profile drag increment due to the deployment of a single-slotted flap on a wing with full-span flaps; the data may be corrected to apply to a part-span flap in an arbitrary spanwise position using the factors given by ESDU F.02.01.07.Indexed under:
