Abstract:
ESDU 68029 gives an account of the theoretical basis of the part of the Structures Series relating to the buckling of sandwich panels. The necessary panel constants are defined and, for the more common types of sandwich construction, approximate formulae for them are given. An index is also included to other ESDU data pertaining to the stability of sandwich panels.Indexed under:
