ESDU AERO 00.01.06
Thermodynamic properties of air in dissociation equilibrium.
Abstract:
ESDU AERO 00.01.06 gives graphs of temperature, an enthalpy parameter, speed of sound, specific entropy and specific heat capacity as functions of pressure ratio and specific enthalpy assuming that the perfect gas laws apply to each component. Equations are also given that allow the real gas factor and the average molecular mass to be calculated from the data provided. The data are drawn from a number of sources, in some of which the air is assumed to be a mixture of nitrogen, oxygen and argon while in others it is assumed to be a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen. It is commented that comparison with other data shows that the omission of the other gas components from the air has a negligible effect on the data.Indexed under:
